The events and programs listed on the Site are about organizations, not individuals. We store only facts such as titles, dates, places, age ranges and prices, plus links to the organizer.

Service providers

We use outside services to run the Site, and they process data for us: hosting/CDN (Cloudflare), forms ([Formspree or your choice]), newsletter ([Buttondown / Mailchimp / Beehiiv โ€” your choice]), and, if enabled, analytics ([Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free]) and advertising ([Google AdSense]).

Cookies and advertising

The Site itself doesn't set cookies for tracking. If we turn on Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. [Owner: if you enable AdSense, also add Google's required consent banner for visitors from regions that need one, and keep this section accurate.]

Children's privacy (COPPA)

The Site is directed to parents, caregivers and businesses, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we ask adults not to submit any child's information. Kids' events are listed for adults to read. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email privacy@themomcalendar.com and we will delete it. If AdSense is enabled, we will configure it to avoid personalized ads on child-directed content where required.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any email. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing privacy@themomcalendar.com. Connecticut residents have rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act where it applies; we'll honor those requests regardless.

Security

We keep collection minimal and rely on reputable providers, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
